Norscot Playschool

NORSCOT MANOR HOUSE was originaly owned by the Eriksen Family in 1935. The superb sunsets captivated them. Norscot comprised of 605 acres. Today Norscot is still in full use, with classes, meetings and social functions, weddings and business gatherings being held there. The Library is giving a valuable service to the north. In spite of all the development around the house, there is still a fine open view of the Magaliesburg Mountains and the sunsets are still a delight.

Norscot Playschool is situated within Norscot Recreation Centre as it is now known as. It now belongs to the City Council of Johannesburg. With the history of Norscot we at Norscot Playschool is trying not to forget our roots. We try to keep everything natural and free spirited as our young seems to be losing a lot of values nowadays.
